DepEd MATATAG Alternate Uniform for Teaching and Non-Teaching Personnel

DepEd MATATAG Alternate Uniform for Teaching and Non-Teaching Personnel

Memorandum DM-OUHROD-2024-0662

Due to the hot weather across the country, all DepEd teaching and non-teaching personnel are permitted to wear, as an alternative uniform, any of the following:

  • Collared DepEd polo shirt used in past DepEd events and activities (e.g., Brigada Eskwela, Palarong Pambansa, Oplan Balik Eskwela, Regional/Division/School Conferences, etc.)
  • White collared polo shirt with DepEd and MATATAG logo

These options should be paired with matte black pants regardless of the fabric (e.g., slacks, jeans, cargo pants), on the condition that all personnel still adhere to the important guidelines stated in the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 19, s. 2000 or the “Revised Dress Code Prescribed for ALL Government Officials and Employees in the Workplace,” where leggings, tights, and jogging pants are prohibited.
