The DepEd has strongly urged parents and guardians to safeguard their children’s personal school information and identification details, emphasizing the importance of not sharing such sensitive data with these malicious entities. The unauthorized use of official symbols and the exploitation of public figures’ images in these scams pose a significant risk to the security and privacy of students and their families.
