The Department of Education (DepEd) continues its journey to enhance the education system with a focused commitment to ensuring a smooth and effective implementation of the revised K to 12 curriculum. As part of this mission, the DepEd has initiated a crucial training program for its executives, school leaders, and teachers, particularly for those who will be directly involved in the Phase 2 implementation for Grades 2, 3, 5, and 8. This is all part of the MATATAG Curriculum, designed to address current educational demands, improve instructional quality, and enhance the leadership capacity of educational stakeholders.

Purpose and Importance of the Training

In alignment with the Memorandum DM-OUHROD-2024-3437 dated November 28, 2024, the DepEd is conducting capacity-building activities aimed at further strengthening the foundation of the MATATAG curriculum. These activities are specifically designed for teachers and school leaders involved in the Phase 2 rollout. The training focuses on instructional leadership, program management, and ensuring teachers are equipped with the tools necessary to effectively deliver the revised curriculum.
