NCR Remains Overall Champion in Palarong Pambansa 2024

July 16, 2024 - The National Capital Region (NCR) once again emerged as the overall champion of the 64th Palarong Pambansa, held in Cebu City from July 11 to 15, 2024. NCR dominated the medal tally with a total of 98 gold, 66 silver, and 74 bronze medals.

The race for second place was close, but CALABARZON ultimately prevailed this year. Western Visayas finished a close third, while Davao Region and host region Central Visayas rounded out the Top 5.

Despite having smaller delegations, the National Academy of Sports (NAS) and Philippine Schools Overseas (PSO) also managed to secure medals in Palaro 2024.

Congratulations to all the athletes who participated in Palarong Pambansa 2024! Your dedication, hard work, and sportsmanship are truly inspiring. Whether you clinched a medal or not, you all played a part in making this a successful National Games. Mabuhay ang lahat ng atleta ng Pilipinas!
