DepEd Warns Public of Fake Graduation Message from Vice President Duterte

May 23, 2024 - The Department of Education (DepEd) issued an advisory today, alerting the public about a FAKE graduation message circulating online, supposedly authored by Vice President and Secretary of Education Sara Z. Duterte.

The advisory urges school officials, teachers, and the general public to be vigilant against misinformation and to always verify the authenticity of documents with DepEd's official channels.

The Department encourages Filipinos to get official announcements and information directly from their official platforms:

For any misleading or suspicious information about basic education, DepEd urges the public to report it through depedactioncenter@deped.gov.ph.
