22 April 2024 - According to an advisory on the Department of Education (DepEd) Facebook page, the public is being warned about fake DepEd scholarship posts circulating online. These posts are reportedly misusing the DepEd seal and the photo of the Vice President and Secretary of Education, Sara Z. Duterte, to deceive people.
DepEd strongly advises parents and guardians not to disclose their children’s school information and identification in response to these fraudulent posts, as it could jeopardize their security.
The public is urged to stay vigilant against such misinformation. For official announcements and information from the Department, DepEd directs everyone to their official platforms:
