Manila, Philippines – April 14, 2025 — In preparation for the observance of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday on April 17-18, 2025, the government has issued Memorandum Circular No. 81 , implementing a half-day work schedule for government offices on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 . According to the circular, government employees will be allowed to work from home from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon , after which government work will be suspended starting 12:00 PM . This aims to give employees ample time to travel to and from their hometowns and observe the Holy Week traditions.
