Grade Exams and Update Your ECR Immediately
Check test papers right away while answer keys are fresh. Input scores into your Electronic Class Record (ECR) to prepare initial grades for School Form 9 (SF9 / Report Cards). Doing this early helps you avoid system lag and late-night grading stress before report card distribution.
Do an Item Analysis to See What Students Missed
Don't just record the total score. Look closely at which questions or topics most of your class missed. This tells you exactly which lessons need to be retaught.
Run Remediation and Enrichment Classes
Use class time during this period to group your students. Give extra help and simple remedial lessons to students who had a hard time (ARAL Program). For high-scoring students, give fun extension activities or let them help tutor their classmates.
Join LAC Sessions and Organize Your Files
Since regular lessons are paused, use this time for teacher meetings and Learning Action Cell (LAC) sessions. Organize your lesson plans, sort out your IPCRF documents, and set up your files for the upcoming term.
